When you purchase the Venture Calc™ Business Simulator you get access to the tool for
one business for one full year, and you can log on from anywhere at any time to work on it. Of course,
you can create and work on as many businesses as you like; simply purchase more simulators to activate
them.

 Building your business
model is a simple matter of making lists. There are five main categories: revenue, employees,
operating expenses, capital expenses and funding. Choose any one, or start at the top and go from
there. Click the category name and you'll begin to break down that category by adding specific
activities. When you add an activity, you'll have questions to answer and numbers to enter. If you
don't know the answers, this is the point where you pause and go find the information. This process,
working on one activity at a time and understanding all the implications of that one activity, is
the key to your success. Each step you take is small and manageable, but by the time you're finished
you have worked through ALL the issues and can answer any question.

In addition to the detailed knowledge of your business and industry, you will also have a complete
set of forward-looking financial statements, including an Income Statement, a Statement of Cash Flows,
and a Balance Sheet. You'll also get an Assumptions page for each section, which details the specific
decisions you made for each activity. The third type of report you'll get is a Notes page, which gives
details about specific calculations made in arriving at the numbers in the statements. Together, these
reports tell you or a loan officer everything needed to determine your business' feasibility.

Advanced features, such as the ability to scale certain expenses for the number of employees you have,
round out the package for all levels of users. And if you hit a snag, extensive help is available
through an online user manual, Frequently Asked Questions, searchable online problem reports and email
